Project Description

Tetris alike game. There is a platform (or a funny character) at the center of bottom of the screen. Then objects start falling from the top which player can move left, right rotate and drop down. The objects are to be different shapes and look (umbrella, cube, piece of cheese, monitor, etc). Weight value and center of gravity are to be assigned to each object. The first object has to be placed by player on top of a platform/character the second is somewhere on top of the first object and so on. Since the goal of the game is to collect as many objects as possible until the pile reaches the top of the screen, players will tend to spread objects across the screen (pile will tend to have a form of flipped over pyramid). Actionscript has to analyze the center of gravity of a pile and lean it aside as center of gravity relocates each time. If pile is tilled aside too much it is to break apart. Also the center of gravity and the geometry of each object are to be analyzed when it is being placed on the edge of the pile. If object sticks out too much it is to fall down. The amount of collected objects, lost objects, total weight, time are to be shown at the top of the screen during the game, as well as weight of current object and configuration of next coming object to come. The have to be 25 different types of objects. The appropriate graphics and sound effects have to accommodate the game.

Comment: each type of object has to have a unique numeric value. At the beginning of the game the random array of the numbers to be created, so each object is being chosen according to the number at the array's cell.
