Project Description

I can ONLY accept native speakers of Mandarin Chinese for this job as the "game rules" are based on the Chinese language!

I need a little Flash-Programm that can be easily included into a website.
The layout should be nice but simple.

Here is what the program should do:
1. give the user two options of using:
a) "play sound first" and type in the correct number/amount of money
b) see the number/amount of money and "click together the sounds"
2. for option a:
- generate a random number between 0 and 999
- decide randomly (50% chance) if the number is a decimal (max 2 digits) like [url removed, login to view]
- play the sound (sound files will be provided) that represents this number according to Chinese (Beijing dialect) oral language
examples:
230 speaks like "liang bai san"
[url removed, login to view] Yuan speaks like "liang bai san kuai ling yi"
203 speaks like "liang bai ling san"
...

- provide a "keyboard" (like a calculator or mobile phone style) that provides all numbers and the dot
- collect the entries of the user and display his typed in number aside (or under) the given number (which will appear after the user submitted his answer) ... give him an "applaus" for success or an dissappointed "ohhh" for failure
- run the game for 30 seconds and count the success-times in this short period of time
- present the final result XX correct and YY wrong answers in 30 seconds

For option b)
- generate a random number between 0 and 999
- decide randomly (50% chance) if the number is a decimal (max 2 digits) like [url removed, login to view]
- show the number that the user needs to "speak"
- show a keyword with the numbers (written in Pinyin ... number 2 exists two times: as "liang" and "er"), hundret/bai, shi, ling, yuan/kuwai, mao, fen (for money amounts)
- when pressing a "number" play the numbers sound and compare if (still) correct
- when mistake happens stop the user and play an disappointed "oh" followed by the correct spoken number/money amount in correct oral mandarin chinese
- when successfully clicked the spoken number give the user an "applaus"
- run the game for 30 seconds and count the success-times in this short period of time
- present the final result XX correct and YY wrong answers in 30 seconds

Please make it possible to use external sound files for the numbers (is it possible to load them into some kind of cache before starting the game?)
Maybe we could place the necessary sound files into the same folder on the webspace as the flash file will be located. Please tell me if possible - or if all sounds must be included directly into the flash for working properly.

Recording the (good) sound files will probably take us 2 more weeks - so we would like to start with "dummy sound files" that get replaced later on (that's why I intend to place them outside of the flash-file).

Please provide samples of your design work before placing an offer for this task.
