In short, this animated Flash game will teach a user how improve their memory.

Phase I: Introduction

Phase II: Memorizing a random list

Phase III: Memorize a deck of cards.

Phase IV: Setup and Options

Phase I: Introduction 5-8 min.

Through a series of animations, the methodology and techniques that will be used during the game are introduced and demonstrated.

Like a DVD, User will have control of what information he will review.

Phase II: Memorizing a random list

The game will ask the user to choose from various groups of lists. Then the game will ask how many items User would like to memorize.

The Game will then shuffle the list. Finally the game will display both an Item Card with it's Position Index Card.

At beginner levels, a short animation plays (5-8 sec.)which shows how the Position Index card is derived.

A time counter can be displayed to show the amount of time spent memorizing each item on the list.

A player can stop the game at any point and be tested on the items memorized up to that point.

The user is in any combination of the following ways:

The game will display a position and User must recall the item.

The game will display an item and User must recall the position.

Stats are generated by the game to show User his progress.

User will have the option of adding to our extensive groups of lists and even create their own custom groups and lists. User will also have the option of uploading his own icons that represent their custom items. Our game will properly size the icons and incorporate them for game play.

Phase III: Memorize a deck of cards.

- Select level of play (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Automatic)

- Playing Cards are shuffled and are displayed one at a time with a Position Index Card (ie: the first card turned over is Position #1 and the last card turned over is Position #52)

- At the Beginner level more information is displayed. For example, the Position Index Card is displayed; an animation plays showing how to use it (5-8 sec.) Then the Playing Card is dealt beside it; an animation plays showing how to use it (5-8 sec.)

- Once User feels confident he indicates her is ready for the next playing card to be dealt.

- A timer can be displayed or removed that indicates the time taken for each card and the total time taken for the entire deck.

- As a player moves to level 2, less information is displayed.

- At Pro Level only the Playing cards are displayed with their position number. No Index cards are displayed. At this level the user can set the time to view each card (automatic) or he can manually call for the next card.

User will now be asked to recall either the position of a card or recall a card in a given position.

The options for the Recall Phase involve the physical display of the cards. User can choose display of entire deck in rows and columns or one card at a time.

NOTE: A player may stop the game at any time and be tested only on the cards that were dealt.

This game will track every game the player plays. And show stats in the form of animated numbers, charts and graphs of their progress in time and accuracy. Points are associated as a function of time and accuracy in order to assign an overall score.

Phase IV: Setup and Options

This game will be heavy on options and setup.

The user must have the ability to upload their own symbols, drawings, pictures and associate them with Position Index Cards. Our software will provide an interface that will assist User to accomplish this.

It must be understood that I am the sole owner of the source code and compiled code and all graphics developed.
