Project Description

We are looking for someone to create a prototype (in the Unity 3D engine programmed in C#) of a motivational workout game we have designed. This game should be designed to work on both ios and android platforms.

The game can be thought of as a social workout to-do list. Based on which workout the player chooses they are given 5 exercise challenges each day. The player gains points (and levels) for completing these exercises. They are then able to track and compare progress with Facebook friends through a leaderboard system.

The game needs to be created using Unity 3D (that is the engine our team is using for easy cross platform mobile development).

I am attaching a simple design document with all the information you will need to know about the game.

The main idea is that we are in need of having all the core functionality created for the prototype (everything related to the workout challenges, Facebook leaderboard integration, level system, etc). We do not need you to create final artwork for the prototype, we have our own artists which will create the art once you have completed the prototype. For the prototype you will use/create your own mock up art that simply needs to be good enough to convey what each item is for testing purposes.

Please note that while you are not responsible to make the Facebook / Twitter posting work you ARE responsible for implementing the Facebook leaderboards in the prototype!

We will be available during the contract through freelancer to answer any questions you may have while creating the prototype. Feel free to ask us any questions you may have.


We will not release a milestone payment as an initial project payment. We have already had problems with this in the past and Freelancer states that you should never do this. Upon reaching roughly 50% of the project and you send us a build ( along with the Unity 3D project file so we can verify you are using Unity 3D and C#) we will release the payment. Once the project is entirely complete you will then need to send us the entire project file and a final build for us to release the final payment for the contract. We are a verified member so you never need to worry about receiving payment, we sadly have already lost a good deal of money to other contractors so we must now note this policy in all contracts.
