I have been working on a tower defense game in Unity for the last year, and it's coming along nicely. Now we have a few problems with time constraints, and need to get the game finished up ASAP.
I'm looking for someone hopefully that can take on a lot of work, but initially I will want to give you just a couple of small tasks to see how you do, to make sure I have the right man for the job. I already have a full-time developer working on other parts of the game, so you will be able to speak to him about any questions/problems you might have.
If you ever played Command & Conquer, you will remember when you build a defense tower, you have to wait a few seconds for it to build, while a "clock-style" grey overlay ticks around in a circle, until it reaches the start, then it's ready to place...
During gameplay, I want the Tower selection icons to work exactly the same. Currently we have the icons there, and when you click one it instantly allows you to place your tower where you want it. So I need someone to modify this process to allow for the "building process" before it is ready to place.
I am particularly looking for someone who speaks English as a first language - but please price competitively! This job will lead to more work if done well, we we can agree a more fair price for the big jobs ahead, once i know you are up to the task.
