Project Description

We need a 3D model based on a photo (attached). The final product should either be a sketch-up file or a 3DS that can be imported to sketch-up without losing groups and/or textures. The maximum edge count should be around 50,000 (or face count around 15,000).

Coloring is not necessary but each separate colored area and each separate body part (e.g. eye balls; rest of the eyes; eyebrows; headscarf red part; headscarf yellow part; left arm; right arm; shirt and bosom etc.) should all be separate groups as they will be colored later. For reference; the real object (a Brazilian handcraft) is around 50cms high.

If this project will be successful this will become a continuous job.

Important Note for 3DS files:
Please note that normally this is a problematic process and special caution should be taken when exporting from 3D max. The groups sometimes come out in wrong places when imported to sketch-up. We recommend testing the model in sketch-up before submitting. See the discussions below:
