Project Description

I need someone to develop an Android app for a biomedical study conducted by a major university. Essentially I need an electronic version of the paper-based questionnaire, which has over 200 questions divided into 15 sections. The app would require several forms or tabs for each section of the survey, and the questions would consist of a variety of formats including drop-down menus, radioboxes, and textboxes. There would need to be built-in checks to verify that responses are valid (e.g. blood pressure and age should be in the appropriate range). This is a long-term project that would require significant field-testing. The study will be ongoing for the next 5+ years with upwards of 10,000 participants, so ideally we would need someone who is available throughout this time period in case there are any bugs or if we decide at a later stage to add more features. Data should be stored on the SD card as a CSV file so that it can be transferred to a computer via USB without requiring wireless internet access. Typed input should be minimized as much as possible. The app should be designed for a 10-inch Android tablet, ideally in portrait mode.
