I have 3000 indesign files all are separated from each others. The source files are in France the out come files will be in German I have the source PDF files, the source Idml files. The German translation will be provided in .docx files U can open the indesign files with indesign cs4-cs5-cs6 Your task is to copy and pest the German files to the indesign files and send me back the translated files in [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] U will see the links are broken on the files but the links are not to be touched they will be handled in house in post production While copy pesting u need to confirm the following things (as because this is large volume work u need to make sure its error free on the first place) * Respect the bold * You need to format the file names i.e the following way [login to view URL] Please u need to confirm that u are not missing any text from the doc file to the updated indesign files and pdf. Easy work just copy pesting but large volume of work. so looking for someone to handle the volume... I will send u one file to show me ur translation before awarding the project ... Hi, CS 5 and/or 5.5 in use. Advanced with InDesign automation and scripting (jsx). In case of scripting possibilities it is hard to estimate time consumption for 3000 files. I mean it depends on how many rules could be found inside source files and target templates. Testing a few examples could be very helpful. So lets stay at my hour rate for initial task. I need 20 hours (1 week) to find a way to complete 100 files. If above will works - all the rest can be a separate agreement. rgds Jarek

Hello! I am applying for this copy-paste jobs because I can do it very fast. Its hard to say how much per hour I can handle, to be exact I would have to see one document. But as judging from your description it could be 60 per hour. One minute should be enough for opening the document, copying and pasting the text, re-format bolds, emphasis, ... re-naming and saving the document. - I wonder if the source file was done using Paragraph styles or not? - Are used fonts provided? - does the source file contain any "variable data"? - in case the translated text needs to reflow (due to the difference in sentence length from French to Germany) , are we free to resize font size or leading? * Working for a Publishing Company, that's an easy task for me as I have been doing that for 2 years now.
