Small U.S. based idea-rich R&D firm looking for a product design/engineering firm or individual for numerous new products, including preparation of 2D and 3D drawings.
Inventions are mostly simple electro-mechanical devices including consumer and pet products and some alternative energy-related inventions, but some projects may be more involved.
Animation/slide-show and illustration for marketing purposes needed as well, so it's a plus if you are skilled at this, but that is not the primary project.
Also need assistance with product marketing and licensing, primarily in the US markets. Open to partnering in global markets.
Must be highly dependable, consistent, fully available (please don't bid if you're working or attending school full-time or are already very busy and just doing this as a hobby) and must speak/write fluent US English.

Developed 3D has numerous applications such as Microstereolithography, optical scanning tweezers, Near Field Optical Scanning Microscopy, Micro/Macro Laser cutting etc. Design, analysis and development of micro-positioning XY flexural mechanism: Linear scanning of Mirrors and lenses is carred out achieve exact focused spot scanning by using XY Flexural mechanism. Developed XY flexural mechanism is integrated with PC using dSPACE microcontroller. Experimental system identification is carried out and PID control system is implemented in real time. Scanning accuracy of less than 0.65 micrometers is achieved at speed of 2mm/s. This mechanism is further used as a focused laser spot scanning in Micro-stereo-lithography for 3D micro-fabrication. Fabrication, characterization of 3D microstructures: Resolution of microstructures achieved in Micro-stereo-lithography system mainly depends on power of the laser beam and speed of scanning, hence line scanning experiments are carried to experimentally investigate the photo-polymerization process. From experimental investigation process, best process parameters are predicted which gives 6 μm width cured line. Investigated parameters are further used for fabrication of microstructures. Micro-pyramid, micro-cone, micro-gear, micro-turbine, etc structures of fabricated with a dimensioning tolerances of less than 5 μm. (Design Engineering) Dissertation Title:-“Feasibility study of application of ANN to on-line fatigue monitoring system” Work was carried out at Reactor Safety Division, Hall 7, BARC, Trombay Mumbai. Determination of fatigue usage factor for Nuclear Plant components is carried out using Finite Element Method. A back-propagation neural network (BPNN) algorithm was coded in FORTRAN and was trained with random loading conditions (Pressure variation and temperature variation) to determine maximum stress intensity at critical location of components such as Nozzle and Cylinder. Random loading conditions are selected such that most of the plant transients are taken into care and trained BPNN was used to predict fatigue life (i.e. Fatigue Usage Factor). The performance of the BPNN model was evaluated by comparing outputs of the ANN with results of the conventional FEM method. It is observed the close matching of results (results include stress cycle due to loading condition at critical location of component) of BPNN with FEM analysis.
