Simple Vector Line Art for Laser-Cut Board Game

I am making a modified version of the game "Settlers of Catan". In the game there are six resources/landscapes:
Each landscape is represented by a tile.
I will be using a laser-cutter to cut the pieces for the board. The illustration will be formed by cutting thin lines through the whole thickness of the tile. Cutting images into each tile gets complicated because *closed loops would be cut out of the tile entirely*. This is why I need each of these resources represented with line art - most pictures have a closed loop that would fall out of the tile after being cut.
The deliverable for this project is a set of six total vector images (one for each resource/landscape). The images must reasonably represent the resource and have no closed loops. Loops that are nearly closed are also unacceptable because they would easily break off.
Keep in mind that each tile will be about 1.5" - 2" wide once cut, and each line will be about .005"-.010" thick once cut.
