Project Description

I am looking to work with an illustrator for a mini comic (approximately 34 pages of panels in length). I'm only looking for black and white illustration (all styles considered for the project) I have mocked up a couple of images of the characters myself, but I'm more of a static illustration/design type of person and get frustrated with myself trying to do sequence/panel work.

The story is based within my 'Tales of the Nevercity' series, which is based in an alternative universe England from 1666 and in to the distant future.

Snorting Antpowder is a short about an attack on the wealth divide that has grown ever wider in a futuristic London. Antpowder is a new drug that the MetaCog (the governing power) is trying to eradicate before it gets out of hand. The manufactured powder when snorted or released in to the blood stream causes the subject to grow up to 50ft tall and the strength that comes with it.

Two unamed resistance fighters have managed to get hold of the substance, and have planned to meet in a park in the upper societies district. From there they plan on ruining high societies life, if even for a day.

The Art style as mentioned is open, but I do only require at most black and white inked/computer illustrated pages (they can be rough or final) as I can do the final stages/colouring/photoshop/printing myself. It has a steam punk/sci fi feel to it, but its not a total clockwork society. I can give more details on request.

I am on a tight budget, as most of us sadly are, so I cannot pay massive prices, but then if the right artist/style is found I do have more projects in the pipeline.
