The task is to provide a rendered/3D illustration of a new welding process.

Traditional welding melts a small pool of metal at the tip of the torch. This is called GTAW or TIG welding. We are currently releasing a new technology which fully penetrates the metal being welded. This is called K-TIG welding.

I require an illustration which clearly shows the difference between the two processes, the key point being that the plasma jet which comes out of the K-TIG torch fully penetrates the material.

I've attached some material which shows what we're looking for. The first attachment shows the diagram to be illustrated. This is what we're currently using, however it is low resolution, the colour palette isn't suitable and is looks very mediocre. The task is to take this and come up with something exceptional.

The additional attachments are several pages from the brochure that we're working on. It will help to provide some context and guidance on the colour palette. Blues and greys are dominant. Page 3 shows where the diagram will be placed.

It's difficult to precisely define the style of illustration that we're looking for, as there are a range of styles that are potentially suitable. I would request that you provide suitable examples of your work and/or examples of diagrams which show illustration styles which you believe may be suitable.

We have a lot of illustration work coming up, I'd like this to be a long term relationship.
