Project Description

I am a home beer brewer and am looking for a simple yet classy logo to print on labels that may go on a future website, my bottles or kegs, or used in marketing and informational materials. The successful project will produce a logo that is easily scaled and printed on all the above media and still retains good clarity and transmits the image I am looking for.

The name of my brewery is, "Brick and Tile Brewing Company". The artist may include or exclude the name from the logo design at his/her discretion. If the name is used, I am open to abbreviations/alliterations, such as "Brick & Tile" or "Brick 'n' Tile" or abbreviating Company as "Co." I leave that to the artist to determine the best method.

I do not have a preconceived notion in my head of what I want the label to look like, but I'm pretty sure I want a more classic, low- or no-color line-art-ish sort of design that appeals to an older time vs. a modern feel. But again, I'm open to what artists can come up with given the subject.

"Bricks" or "Tile" and Beer should all be central themes to the logo. The town where I live was well-known for its brick and tile manufacturing company from 1906 till 1987, and many buildings are still built out of the dull red bricks that were made there. This can also be a theme in the design of the label. The old factory still sports a tall, brick chimney that rises up over the town and is somewhat of a landmark; I like the idea of incorporating that into the logo if it makes sense.

I have included in the files attached the following:
- An overhead view of the old brick and tile factory, including the chimney
- A ZIP file containing examples of beer labels that I find appealing, although the artist should not feel limited by these examples, necessarily.

Bids must include:
- An example of your work, whether it's a mock-up of my logo or not, I want to see your style
- How many revisions are allowed for the bid price and, if additional revisions will cost more, how much extra
- Your general ideas for the logo if you do not include a mock-up or draft

Because I am a homebrewer, my budget is limited, so if your bid has multiple levels of cost (EG: a basic logo will cost $X, a more complex one will cost $Y, etc.), please state as such. But I'm happy to pay properly for good work.

I look forward to seeing what folks can do with this! Thank you for reading and considering a bid!
