Logo design for media production company

Dear creatives, this november our company will present a brand new and modern homepage. In the course of this, we are looking for a fresh and innovative company logo. About us: We are a team of creative workers that offer diversified media production services: The most important ones (in no specific order) are: film production, 3D animations, virtual tours and web design (homepages, FLASH applications etc.). We do not offer print design or - well, you probably guessed it - logo designs. We work together with other agencies and provide 80% of our services to industry companies, e.g. machine engineering companies. Our company name "Life-2-Digital" (spelled: life to digital) or brief "L2D" describes our philosophy: We take the real life/world and represent it in suitable digital formats (e.g. a corporate movie). We mostly use the brief version L2D (spelled L-to-D). Thus, the new logo may focus on the usage of L2D and e.g. add the full name as subtitle. (Just a thought.) Be smart - we're open for your innovative ideas: Our new logo should show a unique, clever approach to play with the words "life" "to" and "digital" or the letters/digit "L" "2" and "D". E.g. the "L" and "D" may be shaped in such a way that the empty space inbetween defines the "2". Or the "L" and "D" are shaped as twisted film reels ... These are just 2 ideas, so please don't post 50 designs for this. ;) The colors: We have a preferred color scheme (green, blue, black, white / see attachment) in mind, but are not fixed to it. If you pick them, use green for "life" and blue for "digital". If you see other colors more suitable, fine. Please don't be overly playful with color gradients (maybe no at all). Logo usage: The logo should have a clean look and no background (we will use it for print on white paper but it should work as overlay on darker backgrounds too). The final logo should be provided with transparent background in either PSD or EPS format. The provider of the logo that wins this contest of course has to transfer all rights to us.
