Logo for Tsuki Mochi Maid Cafe

A logo for a performance cafe that holds shows at anime and comic conventions. The name is derived from tsuki (月) (moon) and mochi (a soft Japanese rice cake with filling).
I envision a simple rice cake (maybe with a # texture - stylized to identify it as mochi, which is often coated in rice flour) with a bite taken out of it so that it looks like a crescent moon. You might also add some crumbs as long as they fit the style and look intentional.
A wordmark should also appear... either sandwiching the icon described above or beneath it. The logo will be used as an representation of the cafe in places where the full banner (attached) is too large to display.
