This job is an Adobe Illustrator refinement job. I have existing vector artwork (ai. file). I need someone to follow ***verbal*** and visual instructions for making what I have more symbolic and able to withstand reduction.
It is a one color mongram. It will not take that much time, BUT, since I seem to keep running into this problem, you need to pre-qualify yourself in your bid/PM.
To get the job, you must:
=> Give a url or digital file showing freehand vector artwork that you
=> have done.
=> Not show the work of a "team", colleague or middleman. Not be
=> a programmer.
=> Describe your art and drawing training and education (in the PM.)
=> Explain in your own words what things could be done to a typical
=> line illustration to turn it into a symbol (in the PM.)
I am a professional art director. I am looking to establish a working virtual relationship on GAF with a digital illustrator or designer. You do not have many years of experience; students are OK. You just need to know your software. You do not need to have lots of feedback on GAF. You do need to know the difference between color systems> print vs. web, and how to set up for them. You do need to know how to make precise adjustments to bezier curves. You do need to know how to take a tight rough into a finished drawing.
I am looking for someone who can follow direction and create 2-3 drawings a week in 2-3 days or quicker. Some will require artistic input on your part, most will not. Most will be relatively simple but require good freehand skills. I am not interested in anything created using Live Trace; template layer freehand tracing is required.
I am willing to ESCROW the money and/or close the job before the deadline.
