The first time a user opens the app, they will be taken to a screen to fill out the following information: 1) email address 2) password 3) username
The Catcha homepage will contain 4 thumbnails that can be clicked on: 1) CATegories of the week 2) CATastrophe of the week 3) Past catchampions 4) suggest a CATegory. Underneath these thumbnails will be a link to your Catcha profile and a message at the bottom reminding users that new CATegories are uploaded every Caturday.
When users click on CATegories of the week, they will be taken to another screen with 4 thumbnails of the featured weekly CATegories. Examples: 1) most cuddly cat 2) fattest cat 3) help! I’m stuck cat & 4) Laziest cat
When users click on the CATegory they want to check out, they are taken to the cat picture submissions for that week that will appear in random order (not in rank order). Users MUST select either “Hiss” or “Purr” to vote and the next picture will then appear. They can continue this as long as they want or abandon back to homepage. Users can only vote on each cat picture once during the week but all at pictures will be viewable for the entire week.
When users click on CATastrophe of the week, this will take them directly to that week's CATastrophe picture submissions which is a free-flowing feed of CATastrophe picture submissions with no voting.
When users click on “Past catchampions” it takes them to a page where they can scroll through previous weeks and the pictures of the catchampions in the 4 categories for each week will be featured along with the username of the user who submitted the pictures (also with a tally of how many catchampions they have had in the past).
To prove you are human, please include your favorite color as the first word in your reply.
When users click on suggest a CATegory, it will take them to a basic screen where they can send a category name suggestion to our Catcha email address with the possibility of being one of the 4 featured CATegories in following weeks.
Clicking on the Catcha profile link on the homepage will take the user to a page with the following information:
Upper left- profile picture of their choice
Username centered at the top
"About me" blurb (150 words max)
Number of pictures uploaded (rank)
Purrs received (rank)
Hisses received (rank)
