Project Description

Please provide portfolio of previous work. Once designer is selected a more detailed document will be provided. Summary below.

Travel UI Designer for online ticketing and booking solutions for the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.

The scope of this initial phase of the project is to build an all new front end booking process and to improve the user experience. The design will encompass a number of functional improvements which can be broken down into the high level areas described below;

1) Adopt a full screen booking process
Move to a more industry-standard full screen window method

2) Rebuild the UI to improve conversion
In this section we will describe high level changes to the booking process, making reference to competing booking engines, to describe changes to the booking flow, presentation of search results, and booking confirmation process. This will include requirements on areas including promotion handling, room type and rate type detail presentation etc. In building a modern booking interface to replace the current interface, we will look towards modern browser capability to radically improve the user experience. Our objective is to develop a solution that is on par, or better than, the competing products on the market today.

3) Improve the user experience across multiple devices
Recognize the importance of providing for multiple devices – desktop, tablet, and mobile, and create a responsive template that makes it possible for users to complete a booking on as wide a range of browsers and device types as possible.
