Project Description

I run a puppet building company and require someone to provide sketch drawings of three commissioned designs. These do not have to be in colour or be finely detailed as the such fine detail would be hard to translate across to the puppet.

Three designs I am looking for are as follows.

1) A cat - this should be a realistic looking cat so not with large cartoony eyes, and not a personalised cat such as Garfield. It just needs to be a cat in a couple of different positions such as standing, sitting or lying.

2) a snake - This one needs to be a little different. The snake itself will be cartoonish (big eyes, expression) and its mouth should be open a little. He also needs to have eyebrows of some description. The difference with this one is that the sketch will need to show him with his performer. The person using the snake will be standing with it's head about a metre over their head and it will hang down with a tail trailing on the floor. The snake is the important part of the sketch, with the performer just basically penciled in to show where they will be.

3) A Medusa crown - this one should be a crown containing a mass of snakes. The bulk of it should be just made up of snake bodies and tails, possibly the odd head. There should also be three snakes that have their heads raised from the mass towards the front of the crown. They need to be a little way apart to allow the performer to use them individually, but not spread to the farthest points.

For this job, I will need about 2-3 sketches maximum of each puppet, 2-3 slightly different designs if possible (eg different eyes/head shape for the snake; different face type for the cat).

I do have a very limited budget for these sketches, but there will likely be repeat work in future for the right person.

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
