We are looking for a software developer with experience on user interface, mean platform and web design who can come onto our team to help us launch a new website and to help us post launch with iterations on the project.
We want to allow the users to create (design) and name forms dynamically and use this forms to enter information. Forms will be saved in the database, they can also be submitted as PDF to an email specified in the form itself or configured in the settings. Application needs to be built in a way that it is easy to extend on a latter project through easy to integrate with external application through an API. The application can be broken down into 3 major modules:
1. Admin: place where the users can manage username, roles, manage application, manage access control
2. Form Builder: This is where authorized users can create/design the forms and view for the forms.
3. Viewer: This is where users will be able to open an application, create/edit/delete documents based on forms designed at the Form Builder module, view and export the information.
The project will be broken down in functions and presented as backlog as requirements with this document as part of the project/requirements. Wireframes will be provided for specific screens. The developer will need to work on story by story basis, provide estimates, present solutions/suggestions in terms of UI and designing the application overall architecture. Backlog (currently 50 stories) and wireframes will be sent to the right candidate.
The UI Design for the form creation should be inspired as other online forms creations i.e. [url removed, login to view] , [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]
This could be an on-going development upon success of this application.
Design, architecture solution, UI and architecture need to be submitted for review
Application will be built with Responsive Web Design (RWD) with optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from mobile phones to desktop computer monitors)
Multi-customer / Multi-currency / internationalization / accessibility
Application will be expanded to mobile devices in the future.
Desired: MongoDB, Express, AngularJS (or Ember), and Node.js. Jquery can also be used. If the MEAN stack is used, preference for [url removed, login to view] ([url removed, login to view]). Any software component will need to be reviewed/approved.
Software need to be ready for continuous delivery (code always deployable)
You MUST meet the following criteria:
- Eager to get things done, honest and open communicator when things are not going well.
- Must be technically and business savvy to help shape some aspects of the website idea
- Code needs to be clean, comfortable with Github/bitbucket, JIRA style and agile development.
Good communication spoken and written in English.
Be able to video conference (skype), chat i.e. gtalk in English for detailed requirements/explanations
Developer will be responsible for the following list which will always require approval from us:
Contribute with ideas for making the application better and easier to use
Provide user interface design
Technical design and review the business requirements
Data Model (using MongoDB)
Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements, functional, automated test including unit, functional, integral. Repeatable test!
Pass the code analysis metrics
Improve the graphic design and user layout based upon sketches and mockups.
Creating fast and scalable backend structures, fast and scalable websites.
Minimum Skills required:
CSS3, Graphic Design, MVC, HTML5, MongoDB
