Project Description

We have an existing Wordpress site that is in production ([url removed, login to view]). This site has a custom theme and widgets already working in the site. We would like to add a widget, and a new page. The widget will get used on future pages, and the widget must work similar to the existing widget described below.

The current site [url removed, login to view] has a form off to the right that allows visitors to access a free webinar and free reports when they put in thier contact information. This is a general fill in form, that is used throughout the site. Once the visitor fills in the infromation, they are sent to a page that gives them access to the webinar and all of our Free Reports and even Case Studies. If they return to the site, they can add their email address, and if it's been registered before, they will get access to the free reports again without filling out the whole form all over again.

We need a landing page created that looks like this from our other site located at [url removed, login to view]

We will use the same content and layout, only it has to be within our Enterprise Hosting Theme at our existing site. There is a video placeholder just above the form to the right, we will get that recorded as soon as possible. We will record the video as soon as possible, but for now, have the placeholder for the video. To see a finished page (with the video, but it’s using different content, look at [url removed, login to view]). The form fill on this new page you are developing needs to be a widget that we can use on other pages when we do similar campaigns. The widget needs to capture all of the contact information of the visitor and is then sent to us via email. It should also have the anti-spam message (this can be a seperate widget that we can drag and drop into future pages if you provide us with the instructions as to how to do so) and also a widget for the video placeholder. So, I would think we would want 3 new widgets, the form, the videoholder and the anti-spam message. I might not be using the right terminology with widget, but I want to be able to reuse all or combinations of these 3 items on future pages. So, these 3 items have to be encapsulated into something (widget or other vehicle) so that we can add them to future pages.

On the site today, there is a widget all over the site that works similar, only it’s for access to the whitepapers and webinars. I want the new widget to look similar to the existing one, only it won’t be for Whitepapers and Webinars, it will be for these types of landing pages. When a visitor registers from this new page (and widget) we are creating, the email address has to be added to the same database that is used for visitors that register for whitepapers and webinars in the current widget. So, if a customer registers using this new widget, from the new page we are creating, if they were to visit either now, or come back at a later time and access [url removed, login to view], they could just put their email address in the “Already Registered?” box, and would have access to all the other Free Reports and Webinar. After they fill out the form on our new widget, we would have some type of Thank you splash page that also includes a graphic based link to the [url removed, login to view] page in case they want to access our webinar or free reports. We need you to add that hyperlink in the form of a button just like the blue button called “Getting Started” located at this page [url removed, login to view] . The new Button Will say “Access Free Reports”

It is very important that any page, widget or any functionality is developed within the existing programming structure. We spent a lot of money building this custom theme and it does a lot of things for us. It resizes itself based on mobile devices and so forth.
