Project Description

We are launching a web site that provides online directory and event calendar services to local businesses including bars, nightclubs, wineries, breweries, liquor stores, and area restaurants with alcohol sales permits in Texas. All the businesses and events we target sell or serve alcoholic beverages. We need help developing a brand, creating logos, defining colors, creating artwork for business cards and rack cards, and ultimately determining our web site styling.

Our area is a major tourist destination and wine production center in Texas with about 20 wineries nearby. Many of the web site users will be visitors who came to sample the wineries or shop the historic main street area stores. Those folks want to know where to visit and what events are occurring...we are the most comprehensive and accurate source of that information.

While many of the users are wine enthusiasts, others come looking for live music events, breweries, bars, horse races, and local alcohol-related events like Oktoberfest. The site theme needs to appeal to a diverse audience; the common element being they are all looking to have fun.

The web site skeleton has been designed to work across various devices and employs CSS media queries to adjust for smaller device widths. The site defaults to a 960px layout, but graphic design work may be needed for the 720px, 480px,and 320px width layouts.

This is strictly design work. We have a web developer on staff so no HTML or coding is required. Final versions of artwork must be provided in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Fireworks PNG format with all layers intact and a list of fonts employed.
