As I inferred, you need a website to be built for online recipes in which when any user will put some ingredients, the recipes will be displayed on the site matching the ingredients provided by the user and also a user can upload his/her own recipe. As I assume : # There will a login/signup for users to share , upload the website. # The authorized user can put the ingredients and can see the recipes matching with the ingredients. # Guest user can see the recipes through categories. # User can create profiles with their recipes, pictures and other info. I have understood your concept and the first thing that came in mind is we will need a huge database of recipes with ingredients, the database will have a table for recipes and a corresponding table for the ingredients in that recipe, then there will be another table with ingredients and all the recipes that use it. basically these two tables and their subs will be talking to each other for all search performed and will support muti-tier search functionality too. Registered users will also be able to add to the database and will showcase in the frontend with their individual experiences etc. It is best to custom develop the site as it will provide us leverage to expand the site at any time with additional features and sections and without any limitations. The site will have an admin panel which allows you control on all features, sections and content of the site. We can also program modules for you to be able to set the parameters and content for automated features. My approach will be to create a custom design mock for you, starting with the homepage. It will be based on creativity and latest web trends which I will amalgamate with info you will share with me. For example using colors of your logo, links to sites you like and don't like. May be a little info highlighting points that you like about a site and things you don't like etc How does this sound?

I don't have any experience on Freelancer yet since it is my first bid, but I would be happy if you can offer me the opportunity to start. To begin, I have studied computer in Québec (Canada) to CÉGEP. It's a three years technical program before we actually go to college. I am currently working on my bachelor degree in computer science and I had a few engineering classes. I've never actually worked on a real PHP project. But we did have one class where we had to make our own. The purpose of the class was to make our own multi-tier web application.
