Independent contractor looking for a Wordpress developer to build a community website for a First Nations community in British Columbia, Canada. Current site is http://www.lilwat.ca. You will be working closely with a single point of contact throughout 2.5 month build and user testing then be available for maintenance and feature upgrades for minimum 1 year. If all goes well you will get first dibs on more projects. ----- SCOPE OF WORK ----- 1. Identify responsive Wordpress theme (consider Avada from ThemeForest) 2. Identify suitable plugins 3. Customize theme based on supplied *wireframes and graphic design 4. Configure additional plugins 5. Recommend and coordinate hosting 6. Launch site 7. Tech support ( $ tracked and paid hourly ) *Supplied wireframes and graphic design will be based on selected theme. ----- TIMELINE ----- Jan 31: Theme identified Feb 15: Receive final information architecture, wireframes, graphic design Mar 1: Staging server launches Mar 31: Site launch April 1, 2015 - April 1, 2016: Be available for maintenance and updates - $ hourly ----- BASIC REQUIREMENTS ----- This list will be finalized prior to project approval. The new website / CMS will support standard features and functionality including: Navigation/information architecture 4 levels deep Blog User administration Search Text editor minimum requirements: - Coded stylesheet with 3 levels of headers - Templated options for layout – ie two column, one column - Support for basic tables - Support multimedia - Embed YouTube/Vimeo - Support for Google Maps embed code (via Trivoo) ----- PLUGIN REQUIREMENTS ----- Calendars - Support for multiple across site - Google Calendar integration OK - Integrated into search Forms - Managed via CMS - Support for multiple forms - May be multi-page, caching required Image carousel (if not included in theme) Social integration (minimum Facebook, Twitter) ----- CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT ----- The following functionality may be available as plugins: System wide alert "banner" “I want to” widget (see footer at [login to view URL]) Audio widget
