Part Time HR Manager

We have a part time opportunity for a HR Manager to set up a HR function within the company. Our business has grown consistently and over the last few years and doubled in employees, so we feel now is the time to start a dedicated standalone HR function.
Role
Initially working 24 hours per week, the role will be both strategic and administrative. Whilst you will be responsible for reviewing all policies and the Employee Handbook, work with the line managers in handling all employee relations cases, review the recruitment procedure within each department and moving forward, working with the Senior Management to introduce a HR strategy, you will also be hands on, logging holidays, sickness, chairing the staff forum, processing employee of the month and other administrative tasks. Importantly, you will source candidates and propose and schedule them for interview by you and Senior Management as we seek to continue to grow the team. In addition you will review and create a succession plan for staff and review the current training planning and policies.
To be successful you will be looking for part time work, yet prepared to be flexible, have been working as a successful HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor within an SME in the past.
Requirements
* You should be able to demonstrate recent and extensive knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. You will also need to be part or fully CIPD Qualified.
* You will have a hands on approach with a good Knowledge of related legislation

* Experience within an operational environment would be an advantage
* An understanding of the strategic direction of the company and how HR can underpin that to ensure effective growth
Require Freelance offers hourly or daily rate and will consider part time employment.
