We have created some product instruction brochures (in excel to help with layout & positioning as it's a bit easier then using word & we don't have access to a graphics package or the time to learn how to use one). Included in the draft layout we have inserted some photo's although, as the final products will be a range of colours, we would like to change all the photo's over to basic sketch images. These would be black & white line drawings that show the product image or the component or feature that is being highlighted. They don't have to match the exact photo's & can be generic across the brochures where the same image, component or feature is included.
There are 5 brochures with 13 images on each & another 5 brochures with 32 images on each. It may be possible to find clip-art to do some of them, we had a quick look & grabbed a few but (again) we don't have the time or experience to do this properly. We are hoping that the commentary in the brochures, along with the quick photos we've inserted, will help to guide the illustrations.
We would like a freelancer to illustrate just 1 of the brochures first so we can get the ideas flowing & then move on to complete the others. It would be good if the final images were in (say) a JPG format so we can insert them into other brochures or flyers. Before we provide any samples we would like to see/understand what work has been done previously by the freelancers who are interested.
