Dear Employer;
Based on the project description/summary, I believe my experience, skills and knowledge are a good match to complete your job tasks.
As an experienced transcriptionist, I would like to note that one hour of audio will take approximately 3-5 hours to transcribe if the audio quality is good, whether you want verbatim or clean copy, and any other factors such as a heavy accent, number of speakers, researching technical terms, etc., so a realistic time line for 40 hours of audio would be approximately 160 hours of transcription. There are many very low bids that have unrealistic time frames to produce this work. I have quoted time/fee accordingly. Also, I would like to add that although I live in the U.S.A., I am actually English, so I would have no difficulty transcribing an English accent.
EXPERIENCE:
• 25+ years’ in copy, audio and video transcription
• 10+ years as a Typesetter/DTP Operator
RECENT EMPLOYMENT:
• last 12+ years’ working in the legal and judicial sector
STRENGTHS:
• Typing Speeds: 85 – 105 w.p.m.
• Accuracy, confidentiality, commitment and work ethic
Please let me know if you require any additional information.

Coleen Stevens
