I have just created a new website (completely revamped the old one). The new website is with a new host but still using the same domain name. I have no access to the old host, server, ftp or cpanel from the old host because it now points to the new host name servers.
My issue i need resolving is to redirect all old links that are online to the relevent or similar pages to my new website. All old links are getting 404 errors. I also have file names that i have changed within the new website recently which also need redirection to the new file name page.
The upto date pages have been submitted via google webmaster and an upto date sitemap, however indexing seems to have stopped at 3 only out of 22. Temporarily i have added the altered file names and pages to my host server so not everthing resolves in a 404 error to prevent lack of business enquiries and down grading by google.
After many attemps and advice from others no coding ie 301 redirects, RewriteRules have worked. I need help. Is there any one out there who think they can help?

Hi, this can easily be done using the file .htaccess without any need to have access to the old files. About how many pages will you need to redirect? And is the site hosted on a Linux server?
