Job Description - Sales Representative:
I represent a Publishing House named "GIL", which has published so far books related to the mathematical field. I am interested in finding someone who is able to represent my company on the foreign markets in other countries such as: USA, India, China, Germany, UK, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Russia, France, Italy, Mexico, Indonesia, Vietnam, Turkey, South Korea, North Korea, Canada, Denmark, etc.
For this job, we require someone who is able to find potential clients, such as: libraries, professors, students, Universities, or anyone interested in mathematics.
Educational Requirements - Sales Representative:
Although this occupation doesn't have any formal educational requirements, many employers usually prefer to hire job candidates who have earned a bachelor's degree, but that is not our case!!! We are interested in any person who is able to reach the key tasks listed below (look at the requirements section).
Requirements - Sales Representative:
Your key tasks as a sales representative would include:
- keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by e-mail/telephone
- making appointments to meet new and existing customers
- agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
- meeting sales targets (an example of target/month would be somewhere between 5.000 euros to 10.000 euros or upper)
- promoting new products and any special deals
- advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales services
- recording orders and sending details to the sales office
- understanding your customers needs
- reporting sales trends to your employer.

Advancement Opportunities - Sales Representative:
A successful sales representative may be assigned to a larger territory, which gives him or her the opportunity to earn bigger commissions. An experienced sales representative who is employed by a manufacturer or wholesaler, rather than for a sales agency, may be promoted to sales supervisor, district manager, or vice president of sales.
Earnings - Sales Representative:
Good to know: Median annual earnings of sales representatives who sold scientific and technical products were $71,340 and median annual earning of sales representative who sold all other products were $50,920 in 2009.
Fee/Salary/Payment – Sales Representative:
Your payment will sum 10% of your sales. For example: If you will achieve the minimum target/month, which is 5000 euros, that means 500 euros will be your salary for that month, if you want to receive 1000 euros/month, you will have to achieve a target of 10.000 euros/month. If you are interested in earning even more, you are free to set a new target that is higher than the ones given by us as an example, and by doing so you will practically set your own salary/fee/payment earned/month.
