1. The Power of the Heart: further introduction

Self-help/spirituality has been a multi-billion Dollar industry and this industry continues to grow.

The blockbuster ‘The Secret’ (2006) marked a new era in this industry (and grossed over USD 250 MM worldwide).

2. Online marketing: conversion

As explained, we decided to focus on the (online) marketing of the film and we are looking for someone who could assist us in that field. We would like to reach as many people as possible with the message brought forth in The Power of the Heart – people that would like to see (and buy) the film (and ultimately the book as well: cross-promotion). As we haven’t really focused on reaching massive audiences yet, most of us probably haven’t heard of the film yet. Our main goal is, of course, to reach all those people and to generate as many online sales as possible (conversion).

We are running a very powerful Facebook campaign and would like to focus on making our followers enthusiastic to purchase the film by using, amongst others, the following techniques:

create a sales funnel (for example through [login to view URL])

collecting email addresses from Facebook

embedding the sales page from, for example, Clickfunnels directly on the Facebook Fanpage

releasing a soap opera email sequence (newsletters need to be written)

additionally (at a later stage): YouTube marketing, book promotion, etc.

3. Brand awareness and SEO marketing

Please note that our main focus is not so much on raising (more) brand awareness. Also, we are mainly talking about one-off purchases – we do not necessarily need to entice our customers to repeated purchases (unlike fast movers, like candy bars). It is important that our (potential) customers are getting curious about that single product: the film (and ultimately the book as well). Once our customers have purchased the film, we just want these customers to tell others (friends and family) about the film (and the book). That is also why SEO marketing (via AdWords and/or organic growth/placement on Google) should not be our priority. Our potential customers are not likely to search on “film about the heart” or “the power of the heart”. Our Facebook followers and the followers of the Facebook pages of our so-called ‘Co-creators’(i.e. the interviewees/celebrities in the film/book) (and other celebrities) constitute our primary target audience and that target audience is, therefore, well-defined.

4. Profile

We are now looking for someone:

who is young and entrepreneurial;

who perfectly understands the above and has his/her roots in America;

who sees the huge potential of this unprecedented film and book project (potentially The Secret version 2.0 with bigger celebrities in it);

who is hands-on, pragmatic person who takes care of conversion (FB add – landing page – emailing), i.e. actually using statistics, tools and software and managing the funneling, emailing and conversion;

who is prepared to work with us on a pay-as-you-go model (and, therefore, keen on the commercial potential of TPOTH)

In other words: someone who is alligned with the project and its message, who is prepared to assist us on a contingency basis (to be further discussed) and, of course, with relevant know-how and experience when it comes to conversion. We are looking for a partner who perfectly understands the (commercial) potential of this industry and this movie in particular, who could help us with the online marketing of this movie (cross-selling book) aimed at conversion, and who would also be open to discuss a more entrepreneurial partnership with us (ownership mentality).
