Project Description

I'm looking for an android developer to create a multiple choice quiz app for an IT certification. I have about 125 questions made, as well as explanations for correct answers. There will be mostly one correct answer per question but a few questions will require the user to select 2 or 3 choices to correctly answer the question. What I'd like to have is two modes a study mode and a test mode.

For example - a typical question would look like this:

1 What layer of the OSI model does CSU/DSU operate?

A) Layer 3
B) Layer 4
C) Layer 1
D) Layer 2

[After the user answers question the explanation and correct answers pops up. The user is informed is they were right or wrong]
"Right. The correct answer is C. Channel Service Unit/Data Service Unit (CSU/DSU) operates at the physical layer of the OSI model (Layer 1). A CSU/DSU device is used to translate LAN data into a format appropriate for a WAN."

The study mode has the user take one question at a time. After the user selects an answer the explanation comes up along with the correct answer. The user then enters the next question and so on.

The test mode simply accepts the user's answers but at the end of the test they are informed of their score. A review screen that lists all the questions and whether or not the user answered them correctly shows up. From there the user can press a question to view the explanation/right answer. That screen will look something like this:

Question 1........Right
Question 2.........Wrong
Question 3........Right
Question 4........Wrong
Question 5.......Right

Also, before the test mode commences, there should be an option for the user to randomize questions. There are 125 questions, but only 100 should be used in the test mode. The study mode should contain all 125 in standard order.

That's basically the gist of it. There are a couple more minor details (such as color/logos etc.) that also need to be discussed. Thank you for your interest.
