Hi,
I am just trying to estimate what something like this would cost to make. I'm not looking to spend more the $[url removed, login to view], but i'll see where this takes me.
NOTE: I will not be picking a winner, I will contact the most favorable bidder when i come up with the cash for the project and i plan on paying in full before you begin the project. I will contact you within 2 months so please note this.

Basically what i am looking for is a 2D strategy game like age of empires, made in Java(the only language i understand the basics from) or maybe C++ (which ever is easier, faster or convenient for you; I hope you can do it in Java because I have a basic understanding of it. I am asking for a simple 2 faction game because I would like more comments and a tutorial how on to make or edit the 2d strategy game you are going to make. I would like comments on every line explaining what you did. Think of it as you are talking to an idiot who knows nothing of programming. With the code and comments you provide, I should be able to expand the game by allowing me to add more maps more factions with the same AI provided for the 2 factions..

What i want is, 2 factions, the USA and Italy In the 1940- 1955 era, 1 map ,AI to be "smart" and a menu . I want the user and AI to start with a headquarters and 1 engineer..

Menu:
Skirmish - Select user nation then, select Computer nation. or make it computer vs computer. Set AI to easy, medium, hard, expert. Play game.

USE ANY FREE SPRITES AVAILABLE ONLINE TO CONCENTRATE MORE ON CODING ASPECT. Don't really care to much what they look like, just give me instructions on how to add my own images if i want to update what they look like. Also, please add collisions.
