Project Description

We’re seeking software developers who are experienced in developing applications that can scrape content, crawl sites and automate form submissions. Ideally we’d like the software developed using either JAVA SWING, FLEX or REALbasic... so that it can run on windows, mac and linux.

Experience in the following would be ideal, but not compulsory... General SEO, the Google keyword suggestion tool, RSS Feeds, RSS Directories. A good knowledge of English and exceptional communication skills are also necessary.

We require 2 small pieces of software to be developed. One is a keyword suggestion tool, that uses a simple wizard based process and follows a keyword building strategy that we have developed. The end result is a PDF report, that lays out a suggested keyword strategy.

The second, piece of software is a small link research and submission tool. Again it will follow a simple wizard based process. It uses some specialised search queries, that find sites that the user can submit their URL to. The software then automatically creates and submits RSS feeds, to help give more power to the newly acquired links.

We have created a detailed spec that describes the precise processes involved in each of the applications. We have also created an entire mock up of the software in flash and all of the assets have been organised appropriately. We have a designer on board so you will not be expected to make any design or layout changes. We’ve tried to make this project as easy as possible for the selected developer... and we believe that an experience developer should be able to follow our specification and use the prepared assets to create these programs quickly and efficiently.
