Project Description

Looking for an experienced Java developer to create a multi-player modification (add-on) for Minecraft ([url removed, login to view]). To its most simplest: you will be given a set of specifications to work on, which you will carry out and complete hopefully within a month or so (there is no specified time frame for the due date other than by the end of the year 2013). Payments will be witheld until the development of the modification has been complete and the server up and running. To guarantee no one here will be scammed, you may provide your end of the modication last to make the server complete - in which you will be paid through server donations (this WILL be a big project: targetting a large audience that will guarantee profits soon enough). Of course you will be provided with the information about the server (upon release) and if written documents are required to prove legitimacy of this, then it will be worked on upon request. To further add to your payment, if you have a site and portfolio, those will be referenced on our website to traffic the more curious and wealthy server owners who will come to you, as customer.

In a nutshell, the idea around what will mainly be developed is Deep-Space exploration on-top of a new revision of the famous mod-pack called Tekkit.

Keep in mind that this server isn't just your average Minecraft server. This is one that will set a new bar for future servers to come - a revolutionary server: with so much to offer to the already existing survival aspect and a whole new take on the adventure element of Minecraft. Staff will be selectively hired: to accommodate the needs of the player and efficient in their roles to not resort to bans so easily - a feature of the server that many existing servers lack in. It is guaranteed, promised and ensured that if you can get the modification on your behalf of my server developed, that this community will progress beyond what one can imagine. That being said, payment back to you from player donations/sponsorships will be more than likely; so think of it as more of an investment if you will. In-fact, after the payment has been concluded, you will receive an additional 1 month of all donations, ranging from anywhere around $400 to $2, 000. If the modification is met with the appropriate requirements, you MAY be hired once more for FUTURE projects to come: netting you even more money than before, with payment given on the spot (since those projects will be funded by the donations towards this server.)

Please, do not bid if you are NOT proficient with Java, have little-to-no knowledge of Minecraft and its code/design or completely oblivious to the game altogether. Understand that this is a long-term relationship and investment. We are looking for someone who's socialable: to have conversations with and being patient with understanding what it is that is being required. Fluent English is a MUST. So preferably, it would be a bonus if you have played Minecraft or are capable of purchasing it to tinker with. You are going to need to dwelve in it to understand how the game mechanicisms work and to comprehend the specs given. Creating the modification on your behalf, towards the server that WILL be a completely new sensation to hit Minecraft will spark popularity for years to come. But to add once more: it is preferred to find someone that is patient, understanding, social, cruel (at times to give appropriate feedback), fluent with English and capable of playing Minecraft to get a better grasp of its design.

Thank you for your consideration and hopefully you may be apart of this new, revolutionary force.
