Project Description

We need a social sign-up module for an existing web site. It should NOT be used to automatically signing in users, but it should pre-collect data to help in the process of creating a new user account on our existing site.

It needs to be developed in Java on GAE (Google App Engine) using Spring Framework. The module should use either Spring Social, SocialAuth or similar framework.

Currently the site has a normal sign-up form for creating user accounts. And a login feature using Spring Security

The visitor must have 2 additional options to sign-up to the site:

1) Google

2) LinkedIn

If the user signs up with Google or LinkedIn, the normal sign-up form should appear with data prefilled with data collected from those sites. Eg. user credentials, profile image and basic info. The user should just have to fill in the missing data and a password to create a new account.

Some additional details from the LinkedIn social profile needs to be saved in the local database e.g. work history, education, skills, connections and etc. - this will be explained in details once the winner is selected.
