Project Description

Simple J2ME application that only uses high level UI (no canvas) - one size fits all.

One need to create a persistent cookie when the customer first runs the application - and store in memory. All fhe code for this is attached.

Application needs to make a call to my server:

htpp://[url removed, login to view]

It will be returned yes or no.

If yes will also be returned 2 other fields - comma separated values

For example:

These values should also be stored in device memory (for use in functions below) - and if these values are resident in memory the intialization http:// request above will not happen/be required.

If the application is returned "no" the bluetooth function, SMS my profile, upload files links will be greyed out - as the customer has not yet created a profile.

Go to Kiora Site:

This link launches the webbrowser and passes the URL:

[url removed, login to view]

Click on this scans - for available devices and presents them as a list (i.e. the device bluetooth name) with a series of checkboxes).

The customer selects the bluetooth names - and when ready presses send (left softkey).

The application sequqntially tries to send a bookmark via bluetooth to the device which contain the persons (who is doing the sending) profile.

i.e. will have the link:

[url removed, login to view];myid=1267763

The application will sequetially try and bluetooth all the customer in the list and record a fail or a pass. If we could run threads and do a couple at a time even better.

Image Upload

Browses file directory - ability to post images to a server.

Send profile link to friends via SMS.

[url removed, login to view];myid=1267763
