The ICSSA is a non-for-profit, research organization. We have the existing site ([url removed, login to view] ) in operation since 2002. However, lately we got interested in the articles text format at the New York Times, particularly the formatting used in its opinion/editorial pages. To give the perspective web-designer an idea, we have developed a home page and about 19 theme pages linked to it. New articles are posted on the front page and the older articles move to their respective sections (respective theme pages). We are planning to relegate the older material (more than 700 pages) to the achieves section on each page. We need cost effective assistance in refining the raw layout we have developed. We want it to become a dynamic web site with backend facility for easy updating. We have developed the raw lay out ([url removed, login to view] ) just as an idea to the perspective web designer. The layout at the moment is static and looks like the New York Times web site because due to lack of technical expertise we could not make any major changes to make it unique. We are aware of the copy rights laws. The layout that we designed on NYT pattern is only for giving designers an idea for the kind of web-site that we want in a dynamic form. We would like the web site designers to use the raw layout and build upon it. Changes are welcome. However we would like to keep the text format exactly like shown on the template page ([url removed, login to view] ). We would like to add options, such as e-mail it, print it, save it, and apace for readers to give feedback on the template page, so that they appear with each article. Expertise in Javascript and CSS is a must because the web heavily relies on CSS and is developed in GoLove. These need to be updated and made specific to the ICSSA web-site. We would also like to have a page for selling our books on line. Your questions, suggestion, quotations are welcome.
