Project Description

Essentially, I want to make a Facebook page that collects e-mails with AWeber, then gives every person that opts-in a unique link to share with their friends. Each person that opts in will get tagged with a "referrer" field (read [url removed, login to view]) so we know who is referring who & who is referring the most people.

1) There's an AWeber form that collects a name and e-mail on a page just like:

[url removed, login to view]

the capture form would be placed in [email capture code]

2) This name and e-mail is submitted, and then "passed" to an FBML Page (success page hosted on Facebook, just like: ), where a dynamic tracking link is generated, such as:

[url removed, login to view](the email)

This could also help:

[url removed, login to view]+Do+I+Display+Subscribers%27+Names+or+Email+Addresses+On+My+Thank+You+Page%3F

---

The problem I'm having is how do I pass the e-mail address from AWeber to the success page to dynamically create a tracking link that will tag people they refer with their e-mail.

Can Facebook work with GET variables from AWeber? Again, in other words... I need AWeber to pass the subscriber information back to a Facebook FBML page to spit out a tracking link that is unique to the person that just subscribed.

This is one thing I was trying:

<input type="text" id="txtfld" onClick="SelectAll('txtfld');" style="width:550px" value = "[PAGE]<script type="text/javascript">[url removed, login to view]("email")</script>" /><br /><br />Copy the above link and then <a href="[url removed, login to view]" target="_ish"><b>CLICK HERE</b></a> to paste it into your Facebook status to get free bonus tickets!<br /><br /></center>

[PAGE] gets automatically replaced with the URL of the Facebook page, but "[PAGE]<script type="text/javascript">[url removed, login to view]("email")</script>" / is probably not going to work. How can I automatically tack on that e-mail address at the end... and then how can I automatically get my opt in page to get the variable from the address bar and insert it as a custom AWeber variable like:

<input type="hidden" name="custom ref" value="THIS IS WHERE THE EMAIL WOULD BE TRACKED" />
