We are looking to have a relatively small app produced for us that caters to the independent retailer allowing small stores to gain a foot hold in the mobile marketplace by partnering with us and incorporating their logo into our games that their customers subsequently download and play for real-world loyalty prizes.
Most of the graphics and game design is finished, it's just about writing the code to make it all function.
The app opens up with the initial loading screen that holds the name; Winsome and the icon. After that we move to the heart of the product; the Stores List or Leaderboard scene. Here all participating stores are listed by geographic location (based on user's place in the city). Each stores offers a yellow, green and purple prize after four quarters have been won by playing one of the three games.
DropDown: The there four buttons that add functionality to the game. The first from the left, lowers the dropDown and reveals information about the store including it's location, a map, the logo, the name and address along with contact info, a short blurb about what they offer and a small gallery of product images.
The second button pulls down a map of the city's neighbourhoods.
The third button reveals all the categories that the different companies associate themselves to. Touching these categories re-organizes them behind the dropDown.
The final button is for Featured Stores who have paid extra and upon a swipe gesture moves through the different logos with the same animation seen in the games column. Touching a logo flips it over to reveal their special prizes.
Eventually a store is chosen (it's name is highlighted in red on touch) and then a game is chosen (by touching or scrolling so it is centred, enlarged and opaque.
The three games are:
1 Puzzle game: Piece descend down the right side of the screen and players slowly assemble the logo of the chosen store. Difficulty is increased by changing the position of the "oculus" where the pieces are made accessible to the player, speeding up their decent and even turning in space as they fall.
2 Ball-In-Box or Tile Game:
This is a physics based game where you tilt your phone to manoeuvre your ball over a "jump pad" that forces the ball into the air knocking out the ceiling tiles of the box which hold pieces of the chosen company's logo. This game increases in difficulty through the use of addition-balls and specific patterns that have to be destroyed.
3 Memory Game:
The classic game is altered so players have to remember the positions of different company logos all while staring at a large version of the chosen store's logo. Difficulty is increased by moving the different rows of cards and at the top level, changing the board by using concentric round circles whose curved rows move in clockwise and anti-clock wise rotations throughout game play.
