I need a way have a URL that I can track with statcounter before it resolves to the URL at the end of the string!
It's got to be instant - no lag! It also NEEDS to overwrite the HTTP referrer in the header with a BLANK one when it redirects!
So the URL should look like this:
[login to view URL]://www.the-site-it-lands-on.com&sc_project=1111111&sc_security=22222222
And [login to view URL] needs to display "no referrer" in the history!
So after it does the HIT to the statcounter code, it should redirect to [login to view URL] with NO HTTP referrer in the header!
Here's what the statcounter code looks like:
<!-- Start of StatCounter Code -->
<script type="text/javascript">
var sc_project=1111111;
var sc_invisible=0;
var sc_partition=32;
var sc_security="22222222";
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="[login to view URL]"></script>
<noscript>
<div class="statcounter"><a class="statcounter" href="[login to view URL]">
<img class="statcounter" src="[login to view URL]" alt="hit counter script" /></a></div>
</noscript>
<!-- End of StatCounter Code -->
Keep in mind that ALL the statcounter data needs to be loaded (including the image with the correct values that are in the URL string) before it redirects.
Also, because I need a way to easily change the statcounter code (I use different statcounter accounts with different URLs), The only 3 values that change in
the URL string every time I want to track a new URL is the "ID", "sc_project", and "sc_security" values.
("sc_invisible" and "sc_partition" are the same for every project.. so there's NO need to put that in the URL string).
That way I can use the same "[login to view URL]" to track as many different websites as I want!
Example:
[login to view URL]://www.the-site-it-lands-on.com&sc_project=1111111&sc_security=22222222
Another example:
[login to view URL]://www.cool-site-it-lands-on.com&sc_project=5555555&sc_security=77777777
The "[login to view URL]" MUST be a ".aspx" page!
If you're NOT qualified to get this job done, please DO NOT bid on the project!
Every single step outlined MUST be completed :)
Thanks!
