This project entails creating source code, utilizing existing non-Apple libraries, and/or dynamic/static linking. Developer must be familiar with OpenGL and matrix transformations for aesthetic purposes and must demonstrate competency with the iOS Frameworks.
Any code you generate will be the property of the client and depending on the libraries used/linked, most code will remain closed sourced. Modifications to open source libraries must be provided to client and client will hold the responsibility to comply with any distribution/community commit licenses. Final application will be signed by client for distribution and any project files generated by contractor will be deleted/destroyed after project completes, unless told otherwise by the client.
Please note you will be given very technical instructions on the development of this app by current/former developers. You are expected to be familiar with all technical terminology and common techniques utilized by the language of choice.
Please supply links to projects you've completed in the past. If you currently have apps in the app store, please generate a generic AdHoc distribution certificate signed by Apple using an App ID of [url removed, login to view] This certificate will be verified in KeyChain for authenticity. Please DO NOT submit a certificate that you use for your current public distribution and/or programming environment, or wildcard certificates. You may also be required to provide promotional codes to paid apps in the app store that you've submitted as examples of your work. Such a request will be sent to candidates of in the final selection group so not to waste your promo codes.
If you do not have an app in the app store or your app contributions were for another client/employer, there must be some form of proof that you in fact were a programming contributer to the app (special thanks and bug reports don't count). This could include name in programming credits, website recognition, and/or verification from client/supervisor via e-mail/phone call from the registered domain of the publisher (e.g. if you work for company X on a project, then your client/employer could send me an e-mail verifying your work from clientName (at) [url removed, login to view]).
If this is your first commercial app, please indicate as such, provide a resume/CV, a cover letter why you believe you are qualified for the position, and any programming examples that can be compiled and ran through the iPad simulator. Please do not upload code/Xcode project samples until requested to do so via private message. All source code provided will be randomly checked to ensure you wrote the code.
If there are any questions, please ask them in the public forum. Bids are sealed and kept private, so please don't ask for information about other bidders.
Good Luck and I hope to work with you soon.
