Project Description

Hello,

because i want to understand, how the transfer/sync beetween

- HTML5/Javascript/jQuery(Webclient) - and - Python/CherryPY/pickle - (Server)

works, i need a simple startup environment :)

So the codes must be commented(what they do)

The technical details:

------------------------------------

***Webclient***:

- HTML5

- use javascript:

------AJAX Concept for asynchron data exchange with JSON format

------processing of the supplied data for presentation at the client's side

------jQuery

***"Server"***

-Python 2.7

---converting the supplied data(in JSON format) with standardmodul json possible.

---use framework cherrypy

- data storage with "pickle"

--- "mapping" data modell with python available data types (lists, dictionaries)

----manage data entirely in memory

----simple storage possibility for python objects (also: dictonaries and arrays, nested structures)

for persistent deposit of data

------------------------------------

For private use, i selected this example:

Topic: "learning diary"

a html5 based site with:

*******************************

a menu with items:

- [url removed, login to view] and manage lectures

- text fields: name of lecture, description

- [url removed, login to view] and manage learning units

creating a learning unit

- text fields: name of learning unit, tag(s), date

- dropdown menu: selecting the created lecture (from 1. point )

- after created a learning unit:

select learning unit and:

- adding a topic to this (text field)

----adding a section to this (text field)

------adding question to this (text field)

-------adding answer to this (text field)

- [url removed, login to view] of learning units by chronological/topical

*******************************

I hope i doesnt explain it complicated

i have here code snippets and html example pages, that you can orientate ;)
