I am looking to add a complete row of four (4) attributes to the end of my New Contracts Nested Form. Three (3) of these attributes, Code Name, Status and Description, are from the Codes table and the last attribute, Units Alloc, is from the Codelines table which is the Join Table. An “Add Billing Codes” button should serve that function. ie: at the click of the “Add Billing Codes” button we should add a row of the four attributes listed above.
Furthermore for each new row of four attributes added we will need a “Remove Billing Codes” button. This button should remove the row of attributes added above should it be necessary to do so.
In Summary … we will need one “Add Billing Codes” button, and for each new row of attributes added we will need a “Remove Billing Codes” button.
Another aspect of this project is that I would like to have a search function on Client Name that would allow me to search if a client is already in the database and if so, to autocomplete the attributes in the ‘Enter Client Details’ section. For me the tricky part is that I need to ensure that when the form is saved it does not try to save an existing client to the database since it is already there if the search function found it.
I would like the same search functionality on the Code Name attribute. See page 3 of attached document for more details on the search funtion.
Lastly, once the New Contract Form is saved we should redirect to an index where we show the Contract# and Client Name. If we select the Contract# we should go to that particular Contract with an option to Edit, and if we choose to Edit this Contract then we need an update button in this view and all of the associated data tables should be updated after the Update button is clicked.
