Hi everyone! I'm working on a python based script and need some help.
The script is designed in such a way that auto-generates entire albums of music, meta-data included.
Basically, the script takes three random audio files from a defined folder of my choosing, places them on top of each other in an Ableton Live file, and then exports it as an .aiff. It would do this based on randomly generated number of tracks and track lengths.
Then after they are exported, file metadata like "Album Name" and "Track Name" would be generated through the Wikipedia API (as the titles of random articles).
This is probably the best way I can explain it. I don't exactly know the technical limitations of things like Python or Ruby, or if applications like Ableton Live are able to be hacked like that.
If you think this project sounds interesting, lets get in touch.
