Project Description

We seek developer with skills in HTML5, Javascript, [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] to develop web prototype Geolocation Social Network (Foursquare style).

To create the prototype, the developer must install the open source script Buddycloud ([url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]), so you do not need to write new code from scratch.

The work involves develop a geolocation-based social network. Create an interface architecture with all the functionality offered by this script of XMPP protocol (real-time messaging, check-in at places, thematic channels, wall, share photos, business recommendations, etc. etc.).

The development of the interface must meet the standards: Responsive Web Design. The developer must integrate an system of online maps (Google Maps or Open Street Map). The goal is to coordinate the system "places" that offers Buddycloud with geolocation functionality: users, businesses and places, with icons in the map (similar to Foursquare or Gowalla).

The developer to complete the work, shall deliver the Front-end and Back-end created from the script installed, modified and adapted to the functional characteristics that are requested.

The idea is to build a highly scalable system for the next steps: (perfecting the desktop application and mobile application development for smartphones and tablets).

P.D.: We would love to receive as a result, a social network geolocation with all the wonderful features offered by the script Buddycloud, but with the same structure, interface and functionality provided by Foursquare.
