I need a simple animated java-script that calls a (restful)-webservice. The webservice-call returns a plaintext or html-text (or maybe even xml).
Please have a look at the attached image to understand what I mean.
It should be animated like that query-tags which are used in stackoverflow.com. (They really look cool.)
The REST-web-service must be called from within the animated "drop-box" (I don't know what kind of object it is). It must contain an input-field and the hyperlink to send the request to the web-service.
I suppose one has to use a "XMLHttpRequest"-Object (?).
I would expect a simple working html-page where both the css-properties and the java-script functions are embedded.
