The aim of this job is to develop a HTML+CSS+JS interface to an existing application.
The application is developed in ASP.NET but no knowledge is required in this field. It is modular in the way that after a login screen and a main menu, each part of the application is a module loaded on demand and according to the user's rights.
For this job, it is required to develop the main framework and a sample module to validate the technique. True module interfaces will be developed once this job is done.
All calls to the server are done through AJAX. We provide the server-side logic, and publish functions to be called by JS (we will agree on the best format).
In the first step the AJAX calls can be simulated, but connection to a real server is required to validate this job.
1. Create the application framework
The attached PDF has active links to describe the screen flow.
1. Login page (login, lost password, signup, popup alert)
2. Application main menu
3. Module container
2. Create a sample module
Displays a data grid with columns whose width can be fixed, auto or *, data is fake.
3. Integration of the application design
We provide detailed screenshots that the application must follow visually.
The controls and their design is provided (sample HTML+CSS+JS for buttons, text inputs, checkboxes, combo boxes...). We used CSS LESS to organize styles.
Technical requirements:
* Compatible with browsers IE9+, FireFox, Chrome, Safari (iPad 2+)
* jQuery framework, AJAX
* LessCSS
* No image used for the layout, we provide icons in a custom font
Be careful about code organization and modular code, profile the resulting application to eliminate bottlenecks and memory leaks.
This is the first step of this projects, true module interfaces are to be developed afterwards in separate vWorker jobs.
