Need to setup fedex rate reply web services on CMS using Javascript and no server side coding (business catalyst is the CMS, it doesn't allow any php,.net,c#.. as far as I can tell)

In Progress

My client has a site on Adobe Business Catalyst and wants to have very accurate rate quotes when entering your zip code. They are using Fedex Exclusively, but what I found out recently was that I don't believe I can use php to create this rate request. The request uses fedex web services, so I believe it should be able to be done with javascript to get the rate from them. Business Catalyst has an integrated Fedex shipping quote but they don't allow any modification to it such as the dimensions of the boxes, which is a big part of this for my client since he uses custom and expensive boxes.

The first part of this which I am paying for now is the initial code for these web services using javascript and basic html forms. It needs to work and get the quote back on the page when the zip code is entered. (The obvious factors that will have to be taken into account for the next portion of this will be configuring the weights, sizes, etc when sending the request)

Hi. I have over 3 years experience writing JavaScript. From what you're describing, it seems all that is needed is to make a simple ajax API call to Fedex's web services and then display the result to the user. Not More
