I need a script that will pop a custom browser alert message (example: “Thank you for visiting”) and then after the user closes the custom browser alert message box the browser will then ask the user if they want to stay on the page or leave the page. If they choose to stay on the page, they stay on it. If they choose to leave the page the user gets redirected to another page in the same window (“window.location.href='[url removed, login to view]';). The script must start/execute when the user tries to close the window or tab. [url removed, login to view] homepage is an example of what I am looking for, BUT when the users clicks leave the page it must redirect using (“window.location.href='[url removed, login to view]';). Exitsplash uses some ifames or something like that, that’s NOT what I want. Go to [url removed, login to view] try to close the window and you will see how I want it to work. I need the script to work in all major browsers fire fox, internet explorer, chrome, safari and hopefully opera. To whoever takes the job, keep in mind when making the script, browsers do update so make the script where is browser friendly and etc. Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to someone helping me with this small project.
