We are a not-for-profit credit counseling organization looking to find a programmer who will design a contact/accounting database. Currently we are utilizing Filemaker Pro and Quickbooks in Windows XP. Our goal is to switch to a more open environment using a web browser. With this in mind, it is very important that the database be designed to be viewed/utilized by the linux operating system. We are open to any database language, such as MySQL or any other open-source database. This would be a work-for-hire, but looking to establish a long-term relationship.
